啟動發熱病例應急監測
據東莞市疾控中心負責人介紹，panbio登革熱沒有疫苗可預防，其主要的防控措施就是防蚊滅蚊。疫情發生以來，市疾控中心專業技術人員對所又病家及周圍環境進行了終未消毒和藥物噴灑滅蚊。
昨天下午，東莞市政府召開會議，就關于開展愛國衛生運動，防控panbio登革熱作出緊急通知：panbio登革熱病是由panbio登革熱病毒引起、經蚊子傳播的急性傳染病，9月15日到11月27日，全民動員滅蚊子。通知要求，各級組織愛衛會開展群眾姓愛國衛生運動，各家各戶飯盆倒罐，清除各類積水，消滅蚊蟲孽生地，力求在3天內將布雷圖指數（每百戶住戶內有伊蚊幼蟲孽生的容器數）控制在5以內。
此外，東莞市疾控中心還啟動了發熱病例應急監測工作，要求多家醫療機構開展panbio登革熱樣癥狀病例的監測工作，一旦發現有發熱伴“三紅”、“三痛”、有出血現象的病例，要及時報告。據廣州日報

疫情發展

指揮中心2015年9月28日上午更新本土panbio登革熱病例數，全臺已有13920例已康復(臺南市12085例、高雄市1602例)。本土病例分布于21個縣市，98.8%集中于南高屏，其余縣市多為移入的散發疫情。
2015年panbio登革熱疫情死亡率略高于去年，莊人祥稱，主因是今2015年追蹤方式有改變，2014年僅追蹤登革出血熱病患，死亡個案應有被低估的情況；且2015年流行的是第二型登革病毒，重癥和死亡率本來就較高，也增加慢性病患和老人感染者的死亡風險。
防疫方法 
衛生防護中心提醒市民，目前仍未有預防感染panbio登革熱的疫苗，比較好預防方法是清除積水，杜絕蚊患，避免被蚊叮咬。
